WARSAW – Plymouth’s girls’ swimmers overall, scored 305 points in sectional action at Warsaw on their way to a third-place finish.

The point total is the highest in program history and was accomplished because of the team’s improved depth.

Plymouth qualified 28 of 30 swimmers into the championship meet and swam over 33 best times between the Prelims and Finals.

Plymouth had their best shot at punching a ticket to state getting 2nd by just .07 to Warsaw in the Medley Relay. Teams qualifying for State have to get 1st in Sectionals in order to move on, and Plymouth took 2nd in both the first and last events of the day. Lucy Keirn, Summer South, Marley Houin, and Aumrie Weiss earned those 2nd place finishes in the Medley and 400 Freestyle Relays. Their Medley Relay time of 1:56.94 is the fastest Medley Relay recorded for Plymouth since 2008 when the School record was set.
