PLYMOUTH – The 5th Grade Boys Basketball team hosted their tourney on Saturday and came away as champions.
In the first game, the Rockets played a strong first half against Triton to take a 24-17 win. Caleb Edmiston and McKoy Gantz led the team with six points each.
In the second game, The Rockets defeated Knox 41-4. Edmiston led the way again with eight points while Brylen VanVactor and Tayveon Warner each had six.
McKoy Gantz and Spencer Goebel earned Defensive MVP’s for the tourney.
The boys will be back in action on Tuesday at North Liberty starting at 5 p.m.
