PLYMOUTH – Plymouth’s fifth-grade boys basketball team took pair of wins over Triton, the A team 29-10, and the B team 18-4.
In the A game, the boys worked out some early nerves and opened up the scoring in the 2nd quarter to take a 19-0 halftime lead.
Defensive MVPs for the game were McKoy Gantz, Grady Scott, and Spencer Goebel. Goebel led the way with 10 points and Gantz chipped in 7. Drew Sheely and Caleb Edmiston each added 4.
In the B game, the boys took an early lead and never looked back, winning 18-4.
Zeke Estrada and Manny Galeano were named Defensive MVPs for the game. Estrada led all scorers with 6 points while Raul Navejar, Harry Mitchell, Xavier Ross, Josh Tomblin, Carter Klingerman, and Keagen Sickman all had 2.
Plymouth continues their season on Thursday at home against Walkerton with a 5 p.m. start time.
