PLYMOUTH – Plymouth’s seventh and eighth-grade volleyball teams recently finished their seasons.
The seventh finished with a record of 5-7 falling in the conference tournament to Wawasee.
Notable plays from: Olivia Warner 5 aces and Hannah Kresser 4 aces. Sophia Stein and Lilah Treber both with 4 kills at the net. Olivia Warner with 5 assists and Marissa Kmiatek added 3 assists.
The 8th grade finished their season 10-2.
The team defeated Warsaw Lakeview Tigers in 2 games in round one of the conference tournament.
The ladies then headed into the championship match to play against the Edgewood Tigers. The Lady Red Storm defeated the Tigers in a close match 25-24, 23-25, 16-14 to earn the NELMSC Conference Championship.
Notable plays form: Sophia Cantero with 3 aces and Olivia Ringer added 7 aces. Jersey Hunter earned 5 kills, Sophia Cantero and Eva Sheedy added 3. Mia Hartley had 5 assists and Olivia Ringer had 6.
