Before starting the Varsity Volleyball game on Thursday evening the PHS Athletic Department took just a moment to highlight a couple of milestone achievements for two PHS seniors. John Scott said, “We have two new members of the 500 club.”
First honored was Madie Figg. Earlier this season Madie crossed the 500 Kill plateau. She currently sits with nearly 650 varsity kills in her career.
Next they honored Clare Sheedy for accumulating over 500 digs for her career. John Scott said, “Like Madie, Clare surpassed this milestone earlier in the year and now sits at over 600 digs for her career.”
Volleyball fans gave the Madie and Clare a standing ovation for their successful careers and becoming the newest member of the 500 dig and kills club for a career.
