PLYMOUTH – The Plymouth 5th-8th grade Cross Country team had their first home meet last night on September 13 against Lakeview and Bremen. The boy’s score was Lakeview with 22, Lincoln with 50, and Bremen taking 3rd with 62 points.
The lady Red Storm won with a score of 22, Lakeview took second with 48 points, and Brement took third with 66 points.
The girls had 3 standout performances with personal records from 5th grade Chloe Carlton. Eighth grade Lauren Gurtner, and fifth grade Brook Scruggs.
Scoring for the girls were Vivy Miller taking 1st (12:10), Lauren Gurtner in 2nd (12:41), Bella Walters in 4th (13:20), Kali Newcomb in 7th (13:52.7), and Ellie Gifford in 8th (13:52.9).
Scoring for the boys was, in 4th Wylie Knapp (12:20), in 8th Hunter Shipley (12:42), in 9th Coen Kreamer (12:44), in 13th McCoy Gantz (13:02), and in 15th O’Malley Holm (13:35). The Cross Country team will be running against Tippy Valley on Thursday, Sept. 16 at Centennial Park.
