PLYMOUTH – Wednesday night was a doubleheader for the 8th-grade Red Storm at Ben Franklin
In the A team match, the ladies won with scores of 25-10 and 25-18
It was a successful night at the service line for the Red Storm, Jersey Hunter, Mia Hartley, and Violet Flora all had 4 aces.
At the net for the ladies, Jersey Hunter led the way with 7 kills, while Sophia Cantero and Eva Sheedy both added 3 kills.
Mia Hartley had 6 assists and Olivia Ringer added 4 more.
In the B match, the girls earned the win in 2 games, scores of 25-17 and 25-23
At the net Emailine Van Duyne let the attack with 3 kills while Olivia Burch and Lily Runyan added 2 kills each.
Setting for the Lady red Storms was Rylee Eisemann with 4 assists and Sophia Polando adding 3 of her own.
Thursday night the 8th-grade red storms took on the Laporte Lady Slicers
The A team was victorious in two games with scores of; 25-8 and 25-5
Some notable plays were made by Sophia Cantero and Jersey Hunter with 6 aces and Violet Flora adding 4 more.
Action in front of the 10ft line was made by Violet Flora 4 kills and Eva Sheedy, Olivia Ringer, and Mia Hartley all added 2 kills.
The B team was successful against Laporte winning their games: 25-16 and 25-25
Thea Shepherd lead in aces with 8 while Emaline Van Duyne and Taylor Hauptman both added 2.
At the net Olivia Burch, Taylor Hauptman, and Emaline Van Duyne all added 2 kills.
The 8th grade Red Storm are currently undefeated in the regular season with a record of 5-0.
