Jr. high volleyball
PLYMOUTH – Wednesday night was a doubleheader for the Lincoln 7th grade volleyball team as they were on the road at Ben Franklin
The A team put up a good fight but lost with scores of 13-25 and 17-25
Sophia Stein had 3 aces while Lilah Treber, Kami Eaton, and Marissa Kmiatek added 1 ace.
Kyndall Marcum led the attack at the net with 2 kills, while Sophia Stein added 1
In the B match, the girls battled but unfortunately were defeated with scores of 14-25 and 17-25
Danika Brenneman, Lily Narantic, and Chloe Krupp all had 2 aces at the backline
Malloree Vermillion and Lily Narantic both added a kill for the lady red storms
Thursday night the 7th-grade Red Storm took on the Laporte Lady Slicers on the road again.
The A team was victorious in 3 games 24-25, 12-25, and 14-16.
Olivia Warner had 3 assists and Marissa Kmiatek added 2.
In the back making some awesome defensive plays were Ava Gonce 4 digs and Chloe Krupp 2 digs
In the B game, the ladies put up a good battle but fell to the lady slicers with scores of 10-25 and 13-25
On the serve receive Krissy Manges, Taylor Hooper, and Amyra Benchar all added to the 2 each in the stats for the evening.
Malloree Vermillion and Teyah Barnhart both earned a kill for Lincoln.
