WALKERTON – Glenn’s boys soccer team dropped their match to La Lumiere 3-1.
It was a frustrating night in which the offense, putting their best effort and pressure on the Lakers goal, had a difficult time finding the back of the net.
It wasn’t until the 70th-minute mark when Braylon Smith (picking up an assist) crossed the ball into the box to Owen Minnick who got his head on the ball, directing it into the Lakers goal.
The final minutes had the Falcons applying high pressure and numerous shots on goal however, none leading to more goals. Andrew Snyder made 2 saves in goal.
