ROCHESTER – This weekend the Red Storm Cross Country team had their first meet at the Rochester Invitational where there were 7 teams running.
The boys ran first with impressive efforts from Coen Kraemer pacing 5th overall and Hunter Shipley placing 7th overall. There were also 3-lifetime personal records including Freddy Kallenberg, Caleb Jones, and Luke Sellers. The boy’s team placed 3rd overall.
The Lincoln girls came ready to race! In Cross Country, the lowest score wins and a perfect score is 15 points. In an invitational setting, it is nearly impossible to be near perfect! However, on Saturday the girls ran away with the team champ trophy with an extremely low score of 17 points. Scoring for Plymouth was 7th grader Eva Macey coming in 7th, 8th grader Bella Walters coming in 4th, 7th grader Taylor Schadek coming in 3rd, 8th grader Lauren Gurner taking the silver, and winning the invite Vivy Miller, a 7th grader.
