PLYMOUTH – John Glenn and Mishawaka Marian squared off for first place in the NIC Conference on Swan Lake’s Silver Par 36 front nine.
The match couldn’t finish much closer as Marian(5-0) edged Glenn (4-1) by a single stroke 186 to 187. Marian overcame a seven-stroke deficit on the last hole played to complete the victory.
The medalist of the match was Marian’s Selah Unwin with a score of 39, followed by Mattie Hahn 48, Mary Weston 45, Sarah Oliva 54, and Luci Tinervia 60.
Glenn’s scores were Megan Kobelt 45, Emma Egger 51, Cassidy McMahan 48, Jessie Yelaska 63, and Danni Divine 43.
Bri Wolff of John Bri scores the low JV score with a 49. The Falcons play in the Rochester Invitational Saturday and will host Penn next week on Tuesday.
