LAKEVILLE – LaVille’s varsity volleyball team won a thrilling five-set match at John Glenn.
Trailing two sets to one, LaVille rallied for a crucial 25-21 fourth set victory to force a fifth set. LHS won a heart-throbbing 15-12 fifth set to pick up the rivalry victory.
Olivia Goze led the net attack with six key blocks and 15 kills.
Madelyn Fuchs added eight timely kills, while the duo of Abby Goffinet and Olivia Leonhard led the defense. Goffinet collected 11 digs, while Leonard added 10.
Goffinet added 16 assists, while Elaina Borton contributed 12.
Lucy Sherk led the service game with three aces.
