Covid 19 update_1The Indiana Department of Health announced Monday that 3,978 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings to 468,219 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.

Marshall County reported 39 new individuals that tested positive for Covid-19 totaling 4254 to date with 1 additional death totaling 66 Covid-19 related deaths. There was a report of 93 new individuals that tested for Covid-19 .The 7- Day Positivity- All Tests scored 7.9% and the 7- Day Positivity –Unique Individual scored 30.7%.

A total of 7,101 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of 31 from the previous day. Another 337 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record. Deaths are reported based on when data are received by the state and occurred over multiple days.           

To date, 2,533,672 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 2,523,679 on Sunday. A total of 5,288,642 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26.
