On Wednesday, July 15th at 10:58 P.M. Officer Stamper with the Plymouth Police Department was dispatched to the Economy Inn in reference to an intimidation complaint. The suspect was identified as 38 year old, Darrell Miller of Mentone. Mr. Miller was later located on Thursday, July 16th at 12:04 A.M. in the Christo’s parking lot on North Michigan Street and appeared to be highly intoxicated. Miller was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on charges of Public Intoxication and Intimidation with bond set at $505.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
