Plymouth High School is excited to announce PHS senior Hugh Smith has been named as a 2020 Indiana Academic All-Star. Academic All-Star distinction recognizes seniors who excel in the classroom first and foremost, but who also are actively involved in their schools and communities, and take on leadership roles in those activities. The program is produced by the Indiana Association of School Principals, with support provided by DePauw University, Indiana University Bloomington, and Purdue University, along with corporate partner, Herff Jones. Smith is among forty high school seniors from throughout the state of Indiana selected by the IASP to receive this distinguished honor. Smith is currently ranked 1 out of 234 PHS seniors, and holds a GPA of 4.129. He plans on attending the University of Notre Dame to study a STEM-related field. Smith is the Marshall County sole recipient of the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship for 2020. The Plymouth Community School Corporation administration congratulates Hugh Smith on this prestigious accomplishment.
