Jordan honors Bremen softball team for state championship titleState Representative Jack Jordan (R-Bremen) today honored the Bremen High School Softball team on their 2019 state championship at the Statehouse.

After a 29-2 season and earning the school’s first-ever conference title in any sport, the Lady Lions beat Tecumseh High School for the IHSAA Class 2A State Championship.

“Bremen High is the smallest school in the state’s largest athletic conference,” Jordan said. “To win the conference title is no small feat, but then to go on to clinch the state championship is incredible. These girls put in an exceptional amount of work and did their community proud. Congratulations to the Lady Lions.”

To win the state title, the team beat the Tecumseh Braves with a combined score of 47-4 across the six tournament games.
