Monday evening the Plymouth Park Board conducted their monthly meeting in the Conservation Club House.
The Culver Elementary PTO requested a Plymouth Park Family Pool Pass for their silent auction coming up on February 28th. The auction will take place during the Boys Basketball Senior Night as well as online for the full week, February 24th through February 28th. Last year the auction raised $3,540.
The Culver Elementary PTO plans to use funds raised towards the purchase of playground equipment and computer software that is no longer supported by other funds.
Park Board Vice-President Mike Kershner said, “Being a teacher, I’m all for PTO but the one concern I have was being from outside the community. Once we open it up and start approving for outside communities then I’m concerned for what we might see for other requests coming in.”
Park Board President Dave Morrow called for a motion on the request and with none being made no action was taken.
