7602 Lilac RoadTuesday night the Plymouth Plan Commission approved a request of Gloria Espich and Jason and Lori Kiefer for a minor subdivision at 7602 Lilac Road.

Plymouth Plan Consultant Ralph Booker told members the property is in the city’s two-mile zone in a rural residential district.

The minor subdivision makes this request sound like a big change but in reality the Kiefers want to purchase one acre of property from the Espichs that would butt up to their back yard.

During the public hearing, Kelvin Seller who lives at 11919 7B Road asked what the plans were for the additional property, was a home going to be built on it.  The Kiefers said they are going to mow the grass and maybe plant some trees.  They have a small backyard and just want additional green space.

The Plymouth Plan Commission unanimously approved the request for a minor subdivision with 9 of the 11 voting members in attendance.
