Mugshot_richard denton 12-28-19A St. Joseph, Michigan man was arrested by County Police on Saturday, December 28th following a traffic stop.

Around 2 a.m. Marshall County Sheriff`s Deputy Bennett conducted a traffic stop with the vehicle that was driving all over the roadway in the area of US 31 and 11th Road.

The driver was identified as 59 year old Richard Denton of St. Joseph, MI.   Denton was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was taken to Plymouth Hospital for a certified test, which later showed him to be over the legal limit of alcohol.

Richard Denton was lodged into the Marshall County Jail for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering a Person and Operating a Vehicle with an Alcohol Content of .08 or More.
