County BuildingThe Marshall County Council will meet Monday morning at 9 a.m. in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.

Agenda for the meeting includes a budget request by County Surveyor Craig Cultice.

Phil Faccenda Jr. from Barnes & Thornburg will be on hand to discuss the first reading of the ordinance approving a general obligation bond for the jail addition project.  They will also consider an ordinance for an additional appropriation for the jail project.

The County Council will hear of a Library Renovation Project at the Plymouth Public Library by Heather Barron along with additional appropriation requests for the 2019 and 2020 budgets.

Also on the agenda are transfers, the auditor’s report, and Council items including a Salary amendment for the 2019 budget to add pay for training the new Human Resources Administrator and the 2020 Budget for Community Corrections.

The County Council meeting is open to the public although comments and questions are limited to the first order of business.
