WarmUpMarshallCounty1The 21st annual Warm Up Marshall County coat drive is currently underway and there’s still time to donate.

In a typical year the organization will collect 400 to 500 good used coats to distribute to those who are in need.  This year the donations are down and distribution is scheduled for this weekend.

Founder, Steve Keiser said on WTCA Tuesday that they have just over 200 used coats so far and the collection was scheduled to end on Wednesday, November 20th.  Because donations are down, they have extended the deadline to donate warm coats of all sizes till this Friday.

Check out that coat closet and see if you can find a good, clean used coat to donate to the cause.  Coats can be dropped off at Oliver Ford in the big white van out front, at WTCA, the Pilot News, Bellmart BP in Plymouth and Beacon Credit Union.

In the past several years, sponsors have come on board to help with Warm Up Marshall County.  They provide financial assistance to purchase new coats for infants, kids, big kids, young adults and seniors.
