Dustin's Place OpenHouse_1DUSTIN’S PLACE is a new center that is scheduled to open in Plymouth in January.  Dustin’s Place is a grief center named after Dustin Cullen who died in a tragic car crash in August of 2016.  Dustin left behind three small children and a wife.

Dustin’s Place, is a nonprofit with a mission to provide support in a safe place where grieving children, teens and their families can find connection and healing through sharing their experience of the death of a loved one.

Dustin's Place OpenHouse_2Last Friday a ribbon cutting and open house took place at their new location, 11802 Lincoln Highway east of Plymouth, the Stockman Youth Building at the Plymouth Community Church.

Founder Viki Brown knows firsthand the impact a death can have on younger children.   Statistics show that 1 in 12 kids will experience the death of a parent or sibling.  Brown said, “That kind of trauma can derail the development of a child.”  Dustin’s Place will offer FREE grief counseling that’s age appropriate in b-weekly meetings.
