Karen Heim, Culver’s Town Clerk/Treasurer is notifying city resident of the upcoming hydrant flushing.
The Culver Utility Department will flush hydrants the week of October 21st. During the process, water from the tap may have a “rusty” color. The water is still safe to drink.
Heim said hydrants are flushed twice a year in order to remove rust from the town’s water distribution system.
