warrant-arrestOfficer Finn with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Debra Ann Schoff last Wednesday, August 28th about 6 p.m. in the 2,000 block of North Michigan Street.

After a brief investigation Schoff was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail.  She had an active warrant for a Level 2 Felony, Dealing Cocaine with a $100,000 cash bond; an active warrant for a Level 6 Felony for Dealing in a Controlled Substance;  and a new charge of Possession of Controlled Substance when jailers located a Schedule II drug in her possession at the jail with a $750 cash bond.

 

 

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
