Plymouth Color Logo2014The City of Plymouth will conduct their regular meetings on Monday evening, August 26th beginning at 6 p.m. in the second floor Council Chambers of City Hall.  The meetings are open to the public and participants should enter through the Garro Street door and take the stairs or elevator to the second floor meeting room.

Agenda for the Board of Public Works and Safety meeting at 6 p.m. includes the receipt of letters of interest for Engineering Services for the proposed Pioneer Drive Project.  This project will widen a portion of the roadway and improve the pavement surface from US30 north to jack Greenlee Drive.

The board will also discuss the 2020 Centralized Dispatch funding and consider a request of Winona Building Products to restrict parking on North Street.  Letters were sent to resident of North Street who would be impacted by the parking restriction and they will have an opportunity to speak at the meeting.

The Board of Public Works will be updated on the 2019 Fall Street and Sidewalk Projects, approve a resolution setting the date and time for Halloween and consider a request from the Chamber of Commerce to close Michigan Street for the downtown trick or treat event.

The Common Council meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30 or immediately following the Board of Public Works and Safety.  Their short agenda includes acceptance of monetary gifts to the Latino Festival and consideration of a resolution to transfer dormant funds to the General Fund.

The public is encouraged to attend the meetings but comments and questions are limited to agenda items only.
