Arrested_handcuffOn Friday night, August 16th at 10:35, Officer Wozniak with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to a residence in the 2000 block of Plymouth-LaPorte Trail for a battery.

During his investigation it was found that the victim was battered and strangled at the residence. The offender, 40 year old Anthony J. Lubelski of Walkerton was located in North Liberty and taken into custody without incident. He was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for domestic battery and strangulation and held on a $1,500 cash bond.

Marshall County Police were assisted by Walkerton Police and North Liberty Police.
