The Marshall County Council will meet Monday morning at 9 a.m. in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.
There is a lengthy agenda for the meeting including Superior Court II Judge Dean Colvin with a presentation to add a fourth court room in the county. He presented to the commissioners last week and while they didn’t take any official action, they were supportive of the idea.
Also on the agenda is a scanner request by the County Treasurer Angie Birchmeier and a request for funding for funding to fix the water issue at the patio at the Courthouse. Commissioner Delp will discuss the vehicle lease and Karen Richey from the Extension Office is seeking the waiver of probationary pay for an employee.
Marshall County Sheriff Matt Hassel will present the Commissary reports and Ginny Monroe and Sean Surrisi will discuss Marshall County Crossroads Regional Planning.
The County Council will hear from Scott Pelath Executive Director of the Kankakee River Basin and Jason Peters from the County Highway Department will give a financial report update.
The County Council meeting is open to the public.
