resisting arrestOfficer Arnold with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of North Michigan and Baker Streets on Wednesday, August 7th at 1:15 in the morning.

Deputy Wozniak of the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department arrived on scene and deployed his K9 partner “Irok” on the vehicle and it alerted to the odor of narcotics coming from the vehicle.

During the investigation the driver of the vehicle, 38 year old Adam Morgan of Plymouth was removed from the vehicle. While Officer Arnold was speaking with Morgan he fled on foot and was taken into custody a short time later.

Adam Morgan was arrested for resisting law enforcement, possession of cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail on a $1,500 cash bond.
