Operation Quiet Comfort has once again been selected for Beacon Credit Union’s Project Spotlight.
“Project Spotlight” is Beacon Credit Union’s community support program designed to discover worthwhile projects in each area that Beacon serves. Their hope is to be able to support community projects both large and small, and bring awareness to the many good things happening in the community every day.
“Project Spotlight” is a charitable giving campaign that allows resident to nominate local charities, non-for-profits and community projects that they feel deserve support for the potential to earn funding from Beacon Credit Union. They open up the voting process and have citizens vote to support their favorite organization.
Jan Houin from Operation Quiet Comfort is asking the community to help by participating in the voting process from August 1st thought September 30th. You can vote by email once a day. Go to the website at beaconcu.org/project-spotlight. Go to Marshall County and vote for Operation: Quiet Comfort every day.

Last year Operation Quiet Comfort came in second place and received $500.
