The Marshall County Council will meet Monday morning beginning at 9 a.m. in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.  Their short agenda includes the annual report on CASA of Marshall County by Executive Director Chastity Keller.

Marshall Superior Court II Judge, Dean Colvin will be at the meeting to discuss the MCDAP director’s wages and the additional appropriation and transfer requests.

Council members will also consider an ordinance for the Motor Vehicle Highway (MVH) Restricted fund and an ordinance creating the Convicted Inmate processing Fee Fund.

The County Council meeting is open to the public although comments and questions are limited to the first order of business.

Following the County Council meeting there will be a joint work session with the County Commissioners.  During the joint meeting members will be updated on the Water Task Force and hear about possible funding for the program.  Commissioner Mike Delp said he has invited the Township Trustees and all the members of the Water Task Force to attend the work session too.  Delp said the trustees might be asked to assist in funding if a sewer project was to be created.

Lindie Leary from the Bowen Center will also be at the work session seeking input on what they are doing right for the county and what they might do differently.

The joint work session is open to the public and will be held in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.
