NewsMonday evening, members of the Plymouth City Council unanimously approved an amendment to the city’s zoning ordinance pertaining to fences, walls and hedges along with demolitions and roofing projects.

Plymouth’s Planning Consultant, Ralph Booker told city council members several new permits that are now required by the city are not currently listed in the zoning ordinance.   The amendment is basically a housekeeping issue to update the zoning ordinance.

Booker said the Plymouth Plan Commission reviewed the amendment earlier in the month and sent it on to the city council with a favorable recommendation.
