MugShot_michael tomblinOn Monday, March 18th, Marshall County Police received a report of a property damage accident in the 4500 block of Miller Street in Tyner.

Arriving on the scene of the collision, Officer Nick Laffoon determined that the driver, 57 year old Michael M. Tomblin of Tyner had operated a vehicle while intoxicated.   Evidence at the scene also showed that the vehicle ran off the roadway and struck a large rock and a tree stump.

Tomblin was transported from the scene to the Plymouth Hospital for a certified chemical test which showed that he had a blood alcohol level that was more than 3 times the legal limit of .08%.  He was booked into the Marshall County Jail for Possession of Methamphetamine and Operating with a BAC of .15% or more and held on a $1,500 cash bond.
