arrested_handcuffsMonday evening about 8:15 officers from the Plymouth Police Department were dispatched to Oakhill Avenue and Muckshaw Road for an accident in which a vehicle fled the scene.

Officer Krynock located the suspect vehicle at Muckshaw  and 12th Roads.

Harry Scott Sturgeon Jr., 54 of Plymouth was identified as the driver of the suspect vehicle.   During the investigation he was found to be under the influence of alcohol.

Sturgeon was transported to the St. Joseph ER for a chemical test and medical clearance and then transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was lodged on charges of Operating a vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering, Disorderly Conduct and Failure to Stop after Accident resulting in Injury.  His cash bond was set at $1,500.
