Ink StyleA new business is coming to downtown Plymouth.

Tuesday evening the Plymouth Board of Zoning Appeals approved the request for a Variance of Use by Jaime Fonseca.   Fonseca is planning to open a tattoo shop at 212 North Michigan Street, immediately south of The Pilot News.

Fonseca has been operating his tattoo shop in Argos for about four years and said an issue with the landlord is why he was moving.  He also told the board there haven’t been any issues with his clientele or employees.

This application came with a letter of support from George Null the president of the Argos Town Council.

Plymouth business owner Brian VanDyne said he met Jamie and took a trip to Argos and heard nothing but positive comments.  He said, “This business will be an asset to downtown.”

Jeremy Price from Yoder’s Sports Center said, “Another shop is good for downtown.”

The Plymouth BZA unanimously approved the Variance of Use for Jamie Fonseca and Ink Style Studio.
