Janet Foster of Plymouth has two passions. One of them is the art of crochet and the other is giving back to her community. She has found a way to combine both passions into a good deed. She recently dropped of some beautifully crocheted lap blankets for the residents of Miller’s Assisted Living. The Activity Department has been using them as prizes during Resident BINGO and other activities that require gifts and prizes. Foster also uses her talents to make hats and blankets for the newborns at SJRMC and other places. Miller’s resident Julia Umbaugh was pleased to accept the gift of lap blankets from Foster.
