MugShot_donald barnesA 911 emergency call of a domestic battery early Monday morning sent Marshall County Police to a residence on Rose Road near Plymouth.

About 20 minutes after 2 A.M. Monday, January 7th the Sheriff`s Department dispatched officers to the 8,000 block of Rose Road.

Sgt Les McFarland responded and investigated the complaint.  Following his investigation, 26 year old Donald E. Barnes, III of Cherrywood Avenue in Plymouth was arrested for Domestic Battery and booked into the Marshall County Jail.

Barnes was held on a $1,500 cash bond.  A case report will be completed and forwarded to the Marshall County Prosecutor`s Office for review and formal criminal charges being filed.
