Centennial Park_front gatePlymouth Park Superintendent Mike Hite updated members of the Park Board on a couple of projects that have been going on during their meeting Monday evening.

The basketball courts on the north end of Centennial Park have had the goals removed and the pavement pulled out.  New pavement has been installed but the painting and lining will be done in the spring.  Hite said he has the four new goals and they will also be installed in the spring.

The Nixon Field project is nearly complete with only a couple of minor projects to complete.  Hite said the new fencing has been installed and only some ground work needs to be completed in the spring.  He also said there were a couple of miss-cuts on the limestone caps and those should be fixed in the next week or two.  Hite said the waterproofing of the block will be completed in the spring because the block must be dry.

The park superintendent said the metal roof on the fast pitch bathrooms was installed on December 29th.
