LJH_schematicMembers of the Plymouth Community School Board were updated on the new Lincoln Junior High School construction project during their meeting Tuesday night.

LJH_weather protectionA representative from Skillman, the construction company on the project said work progress in the last month was slowed by the weather.  The masonry bearing walls in the two-story classroom wing was started.  Workers have erected temporary enclosures so work can continue during inclement weather.  They are continuing to pour the slab on grade in the two-story classroom wing and started roofing the gym.  The joists and decking for the locker room area have been set and the continue working on the footings and foundation in units C and D.

LJH_undergroundThe underground plumbing lines in the two-story wing are completed and they have started underground plumbing lines in unit E.  The pipe roof drains in the gym are complete and electrical underground work and wall rough-ins continue.

LJH 2story class room wingDuring the next 4 weeks it’s anticipated they will complete pouring the slab on grade and continue the bearing walls in the two-story classroom wing.  Work will continue on the footings and foundation walls in units C and D and they will complete the roofing in the gym and locker room areas.
