Outsmart Escapes is pleased to announce the opening of their second escape room in Buchanan, MI. The company’s 5th escape room among three locations in Michiana. The Buchanan, MI location opened in February 2018 and has been working hard to open the long-awaited “Buchanan Jail.”
The latest installment of Outsmart Escape Rooms, “Buchanan Jail” opens on Friday, November 23, 2018. Unlike the other rooms involving a key to escape or finding an object in the story, the Buchanan Jail will utilize the authentic atmosphere of the original jail cells used by the Buchanan, MI Police Department to create a memorable experience and story.
“Our business model strongly encourages the development of escape rooms that revolve around a sense of realism and a story that feels authentic, a key element that is missing with other escape rooms” said Aaron Smith, General Manager of Outsmart Escape Rooms. “The boss is locked within the cell next to you. He is going to be transferred to maximum security penitentiary. It’s your job to get him out before the hour is up!”
The challenge scenario is that you’ve been intentionally locked up and have been assigned the near-impossible task of helping the boss escape without setting off the alarm. You aren’t alone on this mission, the underboss is there to override the cameras and assist to carefully execute the plan. You have one hour to set him free or you’re better off staying in there.
The attraction is ideally located in downtown Buchanan at the Historic Ross-Sanders building so visitors can enjoy a meal or drinks before or after their reservation time around the community.
