City NEwsMonday evening, members of the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety approved two requests for prepayment.

The first prepayment request was from BIS Digital out of Fort Lauderdale, FL.  They will be installing a new recording system for the new council chambers in the upstairs of City Hall.

The total cost for the project is $9,246 which includes equipment, wiring, installation and training.  The Board of Public Works approved prepaying the equipment cost of $3,780.00.  The remaining cost; software, installation and training of $5,466 will be paid upon completion for installation.

The second prepayment request came from Laura Mann, Promotion of the City Coordinator.  The prepayment approved was for Denver Bierman and the Mile High Orchestra.  They played a holiday concert Tuesday evening and musicians expect payment at the time of service.

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety also approved the Request of Birchmeier Rentals to place a dumpster at 214 North Fourth Street for a week as they continue to work on a rental property.
