leaf sweepingWhile the weather seems to have changed very quickly from fall to what feels like winter there are still plenty of leaves on the ground.  The Plymouth Street Department has spent the last five weeks sweeping leaves from the curbs all around town.

It seems like many of the trees still have their leaves so the city’s street department will try and complete another round or two of the city sweeping up leaves.  Street Superintendent Jim Marquardt said the leaf sweeping is now dependent on the need for snow removal since the city uses the same trucks for both jobs.

If you have leaves please sweep them to the curb for pick up.  If you miss this final opportunity you can bag the leaves and put them at the curb for pick-up.  The city will continue to pick up yard waste on Mondays and Fridays until winter arrives.
