Christmas 2018The annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony and Parade of Lights Christmas Parade held in downtown Plymouth will be Saturday, November 24th.   This year’s theme: “The Music of the Holidays,” will feature an old-fashioned small-town Christmas atmosphere! It’s Shop Small Saturday and the community is invited to support the local downtown merchants who will be offering special discounts for everyone on your list!

The Marshall County Museum will be a-glow with the model trains running extra hours on the 24th, from 11 AM till 5 PM.  This is a great opportunity for making family memories. The Chamber of Commerce and Heartland Artist Gallery will be set up to help visitors make a special holiday craft from 5 PM until the parade begins shortly after 6.

Stay warm with free hot chocolate and cookie station on Garro St next to the museum.

The Parade of Lights, a Christmas parade with lighted floats, makes its way down Michigan St. at 6 PM and citizens should gather along the Michigan Street Bridge for the spectacular Christmas Tree Lighting and be sure to check out the Light Show set to music at River Park Square!

Don’t forget to have the kids picture taken with Santa Claus at the Marshall County Museum after the parade!
