Arrested_handcuffMonday evening about 7:20 Plymouth Police Officer Jerrid Arnold attempted to stop a moped in the area of Western Avenue and North Street but the driver failed to stop and drove off into a wooded area.

The officer recognized the drive as 53 year old Michael L. Berger of Plymouth.  Officer Arnold located Mr. Berger driving the moped a few blocks away from the original traffic stop and he was taken into custody without further incident.

Michael Berger was arrested for Possession of drug Paraphernalia, operating a motor vehicle While Suspended with a prior, and Resisting Law Enforcement in a motor vehicle. He was incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail on a $1,500 cash bond.
