MugShot_Robert MorganThe Marshall County Sheriff`s Department was contacted Sunday night about 8:15 about a possibly impaired driver in the parking lot of the Pilot Truck Stop at 10619 9A Road in Plymouth. The caller advised that the driver had struck a concrete barrier near one of the fuel pumps before parking to get fuel.

The suspect vehicle was located by Officer Jordan Rans  and an Operating While Intoxicated investigation was conducted.   The investigation revealed that 53 year old Robert L. Morgan of Mentone was over three times the legal
alcohol limit.

Morgan was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated .15% or higher, Operating While Intoxicated-Endangering, and Intimidation on a Law Enforcement Officer.  His cash bond was set at $4,500.

A hold was also placed on Mr. Morgan for an active arrest warrant out of Kosciusko County.

Mr. Morgan was issued a Superior 2 court date of November 13.
