County Auditor Julie Fox told the County Commissioners last week that the tax sale was conducted on Wednesday, Oct. 11.
There were originally 146 certified property set for the tax sale and the day of the sale 62 were offered for sale. SRI sold 33 properties at the sale with 29 property that didn’t sell.
It was discovered that the master agreement with SRI Services has not been approved for 2018 so the commissioners approved that agreement.
County Attorney Jim Clevenger said tax sale collected the unpaid taxes on the 33 properties and then some additional funds.
