County BuildingThe Marshall County Drainage Board meets this morning at 8:30 in the Commissioner’s meeting room on the second floor of the County Building.  The agenda includes opening maintenance bids for the N. Berger (Burkey) Ditch and Arm; the Young Arm of the Gail-Unsicker Ditch; The Leeper Arm of the Outlet Arm Ditch and the I. Wilson Ditch.

Rex Brock is scheduled to discuss the Brock Ditch and the Rock Chute on the Knepp Tile while Maintenance Assessment proposals will be considered for the L. Berger Ditch; R. Martin Ditch and Lemert-Powell Ditch.

The County Drainage Board will also get an update on the 2018 Flood Damage and the FEMA reimbursement process.

At 9:30 the County Commissioners meet in the same second floor meeting room of the County Building.  Their lengthy agenda includes the Highway Department Report, Cossett Consulting on IVD consulting services, Michael Morin from Business Information Systems who will present information on the Digital Audio Video Recording Solution and a resolution for Brownfield presented by Ty Adley the County Plan Commission Director.

The commissioners will consider a request to conduct a United Way campaign and Jackie Wright from Older Adult Services will present an INDOT grant contract.

Janette Surrisi will present the dedication of a plat for Charann Thornburg and the commissioners will discuss the LED lighting project with Telamon Corp.

The Drainage Board & Commissioner Meetings are open to the public and comments and questions are welcome.
