Wythougan Valley Preservation celebrated its annual meeting Thursday night at The Standard in Bourbon.
Wythougan elected officers Kurt Garner, Scott Schuster, Karin Rettinger, and Paul Schoberg, and welcomed Jordan Fuller to the board of directors. Mark Gidley announced a new program to identify the county’s historic trees, and Kurt Garner discussed the organization’s role in developing one of the Stellar projects adopted to support the downtowns.
The Daniel McDonald Heritage Awards were presented to Jeff & Jayne Fuller for their investment in The Standard. Keith Board accepted the award on behalf of Bremen Community Cares for the downtown facade restoration program and Brent Snyder of Bremen accepted the award for his family’s relocation and restoration of the barn on North Elm Road.
