Webster_Bullying2018_1October is National Bullying Prevention Month and the Webster Warriors are off and running with their weeklong campaign to promote bullies are not welcomed at their school.

Webster_Bulling2018_2The staff and students are on a mission to educate and raise awareness about bullying prevention by wearing a specific color on each day of the week. Tuesday, Plymouth High School Career Marketing senior Alissa Knapp visited Webster to capture the Warriors wearing the color pink. Social Worker Wendi Bendy said the color pink was chosen for Tuesday because any Webster student would be tickled pink if a fellow classmate invited them to play. Students were encouraged to look on the playground for others who may need a friend to play with and invite them to join in playing with their group.

Webster_bulling2018_3Wednesday students are encouraged to wear tie-dye colors or bright colors to symbolize being the bright spot in someone’s day. Students will be encouraged to use encouraging words on Wednesday when speaking to their peers and give an extra smile or an extra compliment to anyone that they think might need a kind word.   Photo 1,  (Left to Right)  Ava Nelson, Chloe Horton, Joy Carter and Sophia Funk
