Centennial Park_front gateLast week members of the Plymouth Park Board reviewed and approved the 2019 Non Budget.  Estimated revenue will be $78,550 and comes from a number of revenue sources including $14,250 from the Marshall County Blueberry Festival, $4,000 from league payments, $20,000 from summer camp, $5,000 from part trips and 23,000 from rental of park properties.  Park Superintendent Mike Hite said Verizon will also pay $3,000 a year for the opportunity to provide service in the parks.

The park superintendent reminded board members that each year he anticipates transferring a minimum of $10,000 from the Non-revering fund to the Capital Improvement Fund.

Park board members also discussed the possibility of having to charge a fee for erecting the white picket fencing for events.  Hite said it takes five to six people up to five hours to set the fence up in place.

That discussion led into a quick talk about fees and rental costs.  A committee of Adam Lukenbill and Alex Eads with Superintendent Hite will review the fee schedule and rental costs and make recommendations for changes.
