Plymouth_Airport_buildingEarlier this month the Plymouth Aviation Board of Commissioners were updated on the Culver Academies Summer Flying Camp.

Airport manager Bill Sheley said this year’s school was a success on the airports side.  While the school only flew approximately 250 hours, they sold 470 hours and said they had requests for nearly 800 hours.

They will begin discussions for next year’s program in the next month or two.

Sheley said fuel sales were up in June and July because of the flying school.  In June nearly $14,000 of fuel sales and July was over $23,000.
